About

I am addicted to reading. I have been a bookworm my entire life and I am happy to say I never out grew it. As a child my dad literally took my books away and made me go outside or go to the beach, so he pretty much tortured me.

Reading is not only an expression of the authors feelings, but it can bring great joy to the reader. It is my addiction, my love and my passion, so I created this blog to share my passion with others who feel the same way. I have had an addiction to reading blogs created by others and decided that I wanted to stop being an on-looker and join the community. The Bookly Scoop was created my sophomore year of college and while it does not always get the attention I wish I could give it, I pour my heart into it.

I am hoping to someday make it in the publishing industry, though not as an author. I want to work on the business end of things, maybe as an editor or in marketing, but I have a few more years to decide that. As an English Major, I really believe in my heart that this is what I am meant to do, and I hope to strive. I want to be that encouraging word of praise to an author who was just about to throw in the towel, because in the wise words of my most beloved role model, “When all hope is lost you need to keep on fighting, never give up, it’s all about the fight.”

I am a member of bloglovin, my link is on the side as well as a member of goodreads! Feel free to follow me on either of them and I will be sure to check out all your pages as well! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or just want to chat there is a messaging feature on goodreads that I check daily as well as my comments on my blog!

Please comment below if you would like me to check out your blog! I am always willing to make new friends and connections in the blogging community and love reading reviews done by others! 🙂
